About April

I began my Real Estate career 12 years ago after leaving my corporate sales job to accommodate the needs of our growing family. While I love being a wife, (I'm married to a US Marine), and a mother, (I now have 4 children), I knew that I still needed to have something for myself.  While my career hasn't always been consistent due to the nature of being married to a Marine, (things work a little different when you live in Japan for example), I have always maintained my license at some level because helping people love where they live is something I am passionate about. At one point I resented the lack of opportunity to "put down roots," but now I see that there is a unique beauty in this lifestyle as well. It doesn't matter if you are going to live in your house for 2 years and then sell it/rent it/give back the keys, or live there for the next 80 years. What matters is that you love the time that you spend there. I view being a real estate agent as a way to help people see beyond the anxiety of a transaction and to feel excited and confident in the choice they are making about where to spend any chapter in their lives, whether that's buying, selling, renting or living on base. I look forward to helping as many people as I can love their time here in the beautiful state of North Carolina!
