Selling Your Home in the Fall

We are so thankful it is finally fall! There are so many great things about fall… pumpkin spice, football, sweaters, we could go on and on. Another really awesome thing about fall... it is a great time to sell your home. Check out the top reasons to sell our home this fall.

What is better than Thanksgiving and Christmas in a brand-new home? Selling during the fall means you will have a new home just in time for the holidays!

According to National Association of REALTORS, homes are selling on average in just 17 short days!

It is a buyer’s market for sure! This means there are limited homes for sale. This is great for sellers. You should consider selling now before inventory increases.

According to the National Association of REALTORS, each home on the market is getting an average of 4.5 competitive offers. You are likely to get a respectable offer on your home.

Because of low inventory, low interest rates, and competitive buyers, home prices are at a record high. You may be able to cash out on the equity in your home for more than ever before.

Interested in selling your home this fall? Give us a call today for a free home analysis! 910.968.0001

Benefits of a Home Inspection

We highly encourage all buyers to have a home inspection done on the home they are purchasing. Home inspections have many benefits! We have put together the top five reasons to purchase a home inspection. Check them out!

Protection from the unknown

There are many parts of a home that cannot be seen at a quick walkthrough. A home inspector will take time to check things like the attic and crawl space. These issues can be very costly and a home inspection will detect them.

Save money

Yes, a home inspection costs you money up-front, but it could potentially save you thousands of dollars in the future. Those unseen problems can add up quickly.

A home inspection will check the structural, electrical, and other essential elements of the home. This allows for you to be sure the home is safe.

Peace of mind

A home inspection allows for a buyer to have a peace of mind by informing them of the condition of the home. Nothing is more valuable than peace of mind!

Negotiation leverage

After the home inspector does the inspection, they will provide you with an inspection report. This is what you can take to the seller to negotiate repairs.

A home inspection decreases the chances of having any major surprises when you move into your new home. Have additional questions about home inspections? We would be happy to answer them! Contact us today!

Questions to Ask Your Children After School

We are about a month into this year’s schoolyear! Sometimes it is hard to get your children to talk after school. We have put together a list of questions to ask your children after school that may help get them talking!

ü What made you smile today?

ü What did you do today that was creative?

ü Who did you sit with at lunch?

ü Tell me something you know today that you didn’t know yesterday.

ü What did you eat for lunch?

ü What was the hardest rule to follow today?

ü What made your teacher smile today?

ü What kind of person were you today?

ü Who did you play with at recess today?

ü If you could switch seats with anyone in class, who would it be? And why?

ü Can you tell me an example of kindness you showed today? And to who?

These are just a few different questions to ask to get your children talking! Have other tips and tricks to get them to talk? We would love to hear them!
